Angela Twomey

Angela Twomey, 83, of Potomac, MD, passed away on May 21, 2025. 

Born January 13, 1942, in Queens, New York, she was the loving daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose (Badagliacca) Naglieri.

Angela was a retired bookkeeper who lived her life on her terms. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She ran the Long Beach Humane Society, rescuing animals. She loved to cook and paint in her spare time, but most of all she was a very loving, giving, and happy person. She was one who could make lemonade out of lemons throughout her life while making everyone feel welcome and included.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Minutoli and husband Gianni, and Patricia Ann Accardo; grandchildren, Gianni Jr. and Morgan Nicole and Joseph Thomas Minutoli, Vincent, and Anthony Accardo; great-grandchildren, Mason Minutoli and Nico Duaz-Minutoli; brothers, Vincent Naglieri and wife Kathy, and Stephen Naglieri; niece, Rosanne Rodgers; nephews, Nick and Tony Naglieri; friends, Maureen Butler and Sally Krasner; and her cats, Bella, Siara, and Fancy.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her friend, Shirley Ryan.

Services will be private.
