Anna Matilda Amirault

Anna Matilda Amirault, 76, of Hanover, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2026. Born July 31, 1950, in Baltimore, MD., she was the loving daughter of Edward and Anna (Krausch) Smardon.

Anna was a member and raised her family in St. Joseph’s Monastery Parish in Baltimore, MD. She loved card games, board games, watching a good movie, bird watching, baking and cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Amirault-Michel and husband Roger, Jaime Amirault-Tsambikos and husband Erik; grandchildren, Kathryn, Margaret, and Alice; sisters, Mary Agnes Gue and Elizabeth Marie Smith; former husband, Albert Amirault; and numerous cousins, friends, and colleagues. Her pets- Bailey and Lola- were dear to her heart and it brings us comfort knowing that Kali was waiting for her across the rainbow bridge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Joseph Smardon and sister, Linda Smardon.
