Gettysburg

Barbara Ann Conan, 73, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1952, in Merced, California, to the late Charles and Eleanor Sarabun.

Barbara's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother and best friend to her daughters, Meghan and Jennifer, and her love for them was unwavering.

Known lovingly as "Mommom" to her three grandchildren, Anthony, Paige, and Lennon, nothing brought Barbara more happiness than spending time with them. She was endlessly proud of each of them, celebrating every milestone, big or small, and cherishing every moment they shared. Whether she was cheering them on, telling stories, laughing together, or simply enjoying their company, her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughters, Meghan Conan and Jennifer Lipski (Rich); and her beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Paige, and Lennon; and her brother, Charles C. Sarabun (Sherry).

Barbara will be remembered for her incredible strength, her kind and generous heart, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Through life’s joys and challenges, she faced every obstacle with resilience, grace, and determination, always putting the people she loved before herself. She gave her love freely, welcomed others with warmth and compassion, and made everyone around her feel valued and cared for. Her gentle spirit, quiet courage, and selfless nature will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eleanor, and her sister Carol.

Arrangements are with Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA. To sign the online guestbook and leave condolences go to www.gettysburgfunerals.com.
