Barbara Faupel

Barbara Faupel, 76, of Hanover, PA, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024 at the Pappus House in Thomasville, PA. Born April 13, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, Barbara was the loving daughter of the late Edward J. and Vida Z (Davis) Groth.

Barbara was a 1965 graduate of Patapsco High School in Baltimore, MD. She furthered her education in business studies at Community College of Baltimore County. 

She lived in Dallas, Texas from 1989-2002 before moving back home to be near her family. Barbara loved to spend time with her family and friends that she had reconnected with from her high school days. 

She also enjoyed reading novels of her favorite authors; she was a nature lover, especially birds. One of her biggest joys was Veteran’s causes like Wounded Warriors, USO and numerous Animal Rescues like the SPCA.

Barbara is survived by her nephew, David Groth and niece, Kathleen Groth. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Albert C. Groth.
