Carole Ann Beal, 83, of Littlestown, PA, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late, Joseph H. Beal, for 60 years. Born August 24,1942, in Baltimore, MD, she was the loving daughter of the late Claggett D.Snyder and Geraldine M. (Ziegler) Snyder.
Carole lived in Woodlawn, MD and later moved to Littlestown, PA. She graduated from Milford Mill High School in 1960, then attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, Virginia until 1961. After traveling to Europe on the Queen Elizabeth the summer of 1961, she attended Western Maryland College before attending Mount St. Agnes College until 1963. Having majored in Philosophy, Chemistry, and Biology along the way, she went on to become an office manager of the medical practice of Dr. Bryson and Dr. Albuerne prior to retiring in 2001.
Carole’s biggest joy in life was taking care of her children and grandchildren. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas with all of them. She enjoyed being a home maker, baking, gardening, and her house plants. She loved to shop, and to travel with her and Joe’s dearest friends.
Carole is survived by her children, Timothy D. Beal and Lisa Roberts of Littlestown and Charles T. Beal and Delores of Littlestown; former daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bishop; grandchildren, Joshua and Colleen Beal of Alabama, Jessica Beal and Ian Rouch of Texas, Jacob and Allison Beal, Lucas Beal and Faith Wagner, Megan and Justin Poland, all of Littlestown PA; great grandchildren, Bennett, Bowen, Westin, Bransen, Riley, and Peyton.; brother, Henry D.Ziegler Jr.; and sister-in-laws, Mary C. Wolfson and husband Carl, Jean Beal; nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 1:00 pm at Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.
