Debbie Zimmerman

Debra "Debbie" Ann Zimmerman, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, surrounded by love in her final moments.

Born on November 10, 1948, in Kentucky, Debbie was the cherished only daughter of Meda Hall and the late Romie Goble. She spent her life creating a warm, welcoming haven for everyone who crossed her path. Debbie was an incredible wife, mother, and friend to all—the kind of person who was always quick to offer a home-cooked meal, a comfortable couch to rest on, or a stern talking-to exactly when you needed it most. Her fierce love, practical wisdom, and open-door hospitality left a lasting mark on the hearts of many.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Shifflett; her mother, Meda Hall; and her brother, Robert. Her legacy of love lives on through her children, Trelana, Linda, Robert, and Amanda; her step-children, Ronnie and Shannon; and an abundant family of over twenty grandchildren and great-grandchildren, alongside many dear friends who will miss her presence deeply.

Debbie was reunited in death with her father, Romie Goble, and her beloved son, Vincent Jerome Arends, Jr.

A private viewing will be held for the immediate family to honor her memory. To honor her vibrant spirit, a celebration of life will take place at her home later this month, where family and friends can gather to share stories, laughter, and the love she so freely gave.
