Holly

2001 – 2017

Holly, our beloved husky-collie mix, lived a long and spirited life filled with adventure, mischief, and unconditional love. Her name was a fitting nod to her unique blend of breeds—a little husky and a little collie all in one.

True to her independent nature, Holly didn’t always listen, but what she lacked in obedience she more than made up for with a heart of gold. She was a traveler at heart, always ready for the next journey, and she found pure joy in getting wet whenever she could.

Holly shared a special bond with her cat siblings and, at times, seemed convinced she was one of them. Her playful spirit and quirky personality brought laughter and warmth to our home for many years.

Remarkably spry and full of life until the very end, Holly passed away just two days before her 16th birthday. She leaves behind countless memories, a lasting imprint on our hearts, and a reminder of the joy a loyal companion can bring.

Holly is laid to rest in the Brandenburg Family Pet Cemetery, in Foxville, alongside some of her beloved companions.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
