John P. Jenkins

John Patrick Jenkins, 73, of Orrtanna, PA, passed away on April 26, 2026. He was the loving husband of Shellie (Greenberg) Jenkins. Born March 23, 1953, in Baltimore City, MD, he was the devoted son of the late Charles H., Sr. and Helen (Lawrence) Jenkins.

John enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard, Mahjong, and he never passed up an opportunity to humble his sons on the Mario Kart track. He was politically active in his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Corey and daughter-in-law Kaitlin Jenkins, his dog Maisie, friends Toni and Clay Tyler, and Diane and Ken Parr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher, brother Charles Jr, and sister Katherine.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 2nd beginning at 1 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at American Cancer Society/donate.
