John Herman Karsseboom

John Herman Karsseboom, 77, of New Oxford, PA, passed away at home on May 30, 2024. Born February 6, 1947, John was the devoted son of the late Carl, Sr and Mildred (Ulrich) Karsseboom.

John served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965-1969 during Vietnam. He loved classic cars, playing cards, and most of all joking and laughing with everyone who knew him. His greatest joy since he was a little boy was fishing.

He is survived by his brother, Brian Karsseboom and wife Ramona; sister-in-law, Karen Karsseboom; nephew, Michael Karsseboom; friend, Phil Wolfe and girlfriend Alicia; and other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in by his brother, Carl Karsseboom Jr, sister, Madge McDaniel, and brother-in-law, Harry McDaniel.

Funeral arrangements are private. Arrangements are with Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.
