Kenneth Sterling Petry, Jr.

Kenneth Sterling Petry, Jr. 83, of Hanover, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 3, 2023. He was the loving husband of his wife Betty for 61 years. He was born July 23, 1939, in Westminster, MD to the late Kenneth, Sr. and Margaret. Ken worked for Black and Decker for 38 years and was a member of Westminster First Church of God. In his spare time, he was an avid dirt sprint car racing fan, loved tractor pulls and playing cards. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons; Timothy (Carolyn) of Glenrock, PA and Todd (Michele) of Hanover, PA. Grandchildren; Arielle Shepro and Collin Petry, and great grandchildren; Lorelei and Hawke. Sister Sandra Tenney (Edward) of Westminster, many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dogs, Buddy and Gracie. Services will be private. Arrangements are with Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.
