Kurt D. Vought

Kurt Douglas Vought, 64, of Hanover, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, at his home after a brief illness.

Born October 15, 1958 in New York, he was the son of the late Donald J. and Patricia (Rogers) Vought.

Kurt worked as a horse trainer at Hanover Shoe Farms.

He was a member of the McSherrystown Fish & Game Club, in New Oxford. He enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his beloved dog, Clyde.

He is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver, Sandi Boggs-Bowens, and her husband Vince; a daughter, Jenny; step father, Bill Biller; stepchildren, Heather and husband Ray, Tonia and husband Jahnin, Mike, and Brandy; step grandchildren, Scott, Deja, Layvion, Jayce, Ilyna, Violet, and Ronan; siblings, Mark, Marilyn, Cindy, Donnie, and Billy; his best friend, Big Mike and wife Diane; nieces, Danielle and Tammy; nephews, Robbie and Jay; and loved members of the family, Hachm, Moses, Leah, Billy and Kelsie Storm, Debbie and Dorothy.

Inurnment will be private and held at the family’s convenience.
