Hanover

Marian Lynn Elkins, 71, of Hanover, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her family on September 5, 2024. 

She was the loving wife of Lloyd Elkins for 32 years. Born January 7, 1953, in Baltimore City, she was the devoted daughter of the late Raymond and Doris (Bollinger) Martin. 

Marian was a graduate of North Carroll High School, who worked with Random House for 25 years along with the Visiting Angels for 10 years. 

She was a hardworking woman who was a giving and caring person who loved animals. Marian loved cooking, baking, and crafts and really loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Danielle Smith and husband Robert, Angela Wolfe and husband Scott, Kelly Elkins, and Christopher Elkins and wife Stephanie; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Martin and wife Sharon; a sister, Mary Southers; sister-in-law, Roberta Elkins; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Visiting Angels in Hanover, PA, 104 Carlisle St. #1, Hanover, PA 17331. 

Arrangements are with Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
