Robert K. Fostik

Robert Kenneth Fostik, 77, of Hanover, PA, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on September 11, 2025. Born January 18, 1948, in Newark, NJ, he was the devoted son of the late Michael and Agatha (Mancino) Fostik Sr.

Bob was a loving father and grandfather who was a member of the TKE Fraternity and YMCA. He loved collecting diecast cars, woodworking, collecting lighthouses, maintaining his fish as well as his love for reading. He had a love for music, the ocean, and thunderstorms. He will be best remembered for his unique gift of making others smile and laugh. He was an avid dog and animal lover. His family referred to him as the “dog whisperer”.

Bob is survived by his children, Kristi Lee Fostik-Peters of Hanover, PA, Dani Fostik and spouse Sharon McAllister of Owings, MD, Anna Marie Fostik of Lancaster, PA, Alyssa Rae Fostik of Carlisle, PA; grandchildren, Joshua Cole Fostik of Chicago, IL and Delanie Madison Peters of Hanover, PA; sister, Connieann Kocher and husband Richard; brother, Michael Fostik Jr. and wife, June; former wife and dear friend, Mary Fostik and Gina Scaldaferri, who was like another daughter to Bob; his cherished nieces Shana, Cassandra, Veronica; and, nephew Andrew. In addition, he had two grand-dogs, 2 grand-cats, and two great grand-cats.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local humane society in Bob’s name.
