Robert Francis “Pat” Leahy Jr., 85, of McKnightstown, PA, passed away on September 27, 2022. He was the loving husband of Lynne E. Leahy for 66 years. Born January 10, 1937, in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of the late Robert, Sr. and Isabel A. Leahy. He attended Dematha High School in Hyattsville, MD. Pat was a plumber for John J. He always had a camera ready to capture images of the creatures passing above and through their yard. They moved back to the area in 2015 to spend more time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, affectionately known as the “baby army”. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and loved fishing and woodworking. Pat Leahy was quite simply a good man. He will be dearly missed. Son; Dana Leahy, Son-in-law, David Lawyer, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother; Gerald Leahy and wife Gwen, and Sister; Sandra Russo and husband Doug. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Candy Lawyer. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, Gettysburg, PA.
