Tanya Renee O'Brien

Tanya Renee O’Brien, 50, of Abbottstown, PA passed away surrounded by her family on October 27, 2023. She was the loving wife of Neal O’Brien.

Born January 21, 1973, she was the loving daughter of Richard and Linda (Small) Powell.

Tanya was a resolute and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, friend, and homemaker who loved her family first and foremost. She was the best mother and awesome daughter anyone could want. She loved and lived to babysit and spoil her grandchildren who meant everything to her. She also was witty, had a profound sense of humor and was known to be quite the firecracker with her responses. Those that know her will say she was very protective of her family, was concerned more about others than herself, and was very unselfish.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, Tanya is survived by her children; Steven Duttera and fiancé Samantha, Emily Yelton, Jacob Yelton, and Meghan O’Brien. Stepson; Neal O’Brien Jr and her favorite brother-in-law; Barry O’Brien. Sister; Julie Powell and brothers; Michael and Jeffrey Powell. And numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 3^rd at 1 pm at Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
